Students in Jordan are gearing up for the new 2024/2025 academic year, signaling the end of summer break.

Jordan's Ministry of Education revealed that the school year will start in two phases. Public, military, and UNRWA schools will begin on August 18, 2024, with teachers starting on August 11. Winter break is set for January 6-16, 2025.

Private schools will have teachers return on August 25, and students will start on September 1. Their winter break will run from January 8-30, 2025.

The summer break for all schools will begin on June 26, 2025.
